Meet Our Staff

Mrs. Kate Bulthuis

Manager

 

Kate Bulthuis has a Bachelor's degree in Child and Family Development and has been a center Manager/Director for sever years. She also has extensive experience in the classroom environment with all ages that we serve. She is responsible for the compliance and oversight of our Child Development Center and holds it to a very high standard.

Cassandra Fearrn

Pre-Toddler Development Specialist (PDS)

 

Our PDS has seen many children come and go from her classroom and also has extensive experience with Huntsville City Schools. She will assist your child in developing across all areas but will specifically target your child's language capabilities in order to help him or her develop a well rounded vocabulary as well as introduce your student to basic educational principles.

Assistant Manager

Our Assistant Manager will supervise the training and job performance of our education specialists and will also be responsible for the oversight and implementation of the curriculum in each classroom.

Sherwonda Ellison

Infant Development Specialist (IDS)

 

Our IDS has been with us for 7 years and will assist with the physical development of your child, from progressing to table food to taking those first precious steps. She is passionate about the care of her children and strives to keep a safe, sanitary environment.

Located in Huntsville, AL, our day care, pre k and afterschool programs strive to employ qualified teachers and staff that have college level studies or a degree in early childhood education or related field, and possess extensive knowledge of children’s behavior, growth and child development.  We provide ongoing training opportunities, consistently study educational trends and work with professional organizations to strengthen our program.  More so, we strive to meet DHR Guidelines and the Alabama Performance State Standards, making future transition of your child into any public or private school learning environments as seamless as possible.

Jasmine Tucker
Toddler Education Specialist (TES)
Our TES came to our center in October and has done some amazing things with her children. She focuses on developing the whole child, across all levels and has creative and inventive ideas for lesson plans that will keep even the busiest of toddlers actively engaged.
Jeanne Moore
Pre-School Education Specialist (PES)

 

Our PES has been with us for 7 years. She focuses on teaching the children to develop skills in all areas. Her philosophy of educating the whole child benefits her students and helps prepare them for pre-kindergarten concepts.

Youlanda Ratliff
Assistant Pre-School
Education Specialist (A-PES)

Our A-PES has been part of our team for just under a year and she has added tremendous value to the Pre-School classroom. Her approach to education is very hands on and she constantly comes up with exciting experiments to add to the lesson plans, enriching the children's overall experience.

Patricia Coleman

Pre-Kindergarten Education Specialist (PKES)


Our PKES has been a part of our center for more than 15 years. She focuses on preparing her students for the rigors of kindergarten and introduces them to concepts they will see in their private/public school careers. She finds lots of fun and engaging activities to add to her largely academic curriculum.

Crystal Cunningham

After School  Activities Specialist (ASAS)

Our ASAS has been with us for more than a year and a half and in that time she has run a very successful Biblically based program that keeps school aged children engaged and active, while learning concepts of responsibility, respect and trustworthiness.
